Went with my dad to pick up my Sister’s car, and less than a mile down the street from the shop, I saw one guy in a Fiat Abarth getting ready to turn left, when an Equinox from the other side hit him on the front left of his car before skidding forward and stopping at a tree (While coming straight towards the car I was in in the process.) Both ended up with no serious injuries, and no one else got hurt in the process, but it was a bit terrifying to say the least. I don’t know how to process this effectively, but it could’ve ended up worse than it did. I don’t really know what to say, so here’s an old car.

I’ve seen a few minor fender benders happen (and done my own once) but the worst wreck I saw happened right next to me while I was waiting to cross the street. A little old lady started to cross the street just as somebody was making a left turn. I thought she was going to get run over. My heart just about stopped.
Then an oncoming truck slammed into the turning car - which I totally didn’t expect because my eye was focused on the old lady. Could have shat myself. Glass flew everywhere and the car spun around 180 degrees. Literally about ten feet from the curb where I was standing. Real life jump scare. Luckily nobody was in the passenger side of the car, and everybody walked away.

When I was a kid, a woman in a Thunderbird (the Thelma and Louise sort) came around a curve near our house too fast, hit a phone pole, and was killed. Didn’t see the collision, but I’ll never forget the paramedics lifting her gently off the windshield shards on which her neck had been impaled. Lots of blood. Lots of bad dreams.

Not a bad story, but I was dooped by the Centurion pic.

I just saw a car on fire!! Smoke was everywhere and I saw the flames under the hood. Wife claims it was a VW, I think it was a Versa ( was driving at 75mph, didn’t have time to look).
I also have an Abarth, so I am glad it did well and no one died.
